Once again welcome to my online portfolio.
I welcome any thoughts you may have that would improve your
viewing pleasure.
People are my passion. I love to meet, work
with, and photograph people of all ages, young, and old, bankers
to bikers - we are all special. My work and clients are diverse.
I have been a freelance photographer since
1981, photographing anything and everything I could see through
my viewfinder, including weddings, senior portraits, babies
and events of all sorts.
In 1987 I had a personal art photography exibition.
I worked for many different studios and in
1997 opened my own photograhy and video studio. Outdoor photography
and close ups are also in my arrangements of work. My experience
ranges from college courses to on the job training. I try
to seize a story in every photo I produce. My goal when I
pick up my camera is to be able to convey to the viewer of
the portrait something about the subject(s). Natural light
is my favorite light to photograph people in. It captures
the natural beauty of the subject. Studio lighting can sometimes
create a false or subdued look.
I treat each one of my customers with a personal,
friendly attitude. Do not expect your photo shoot to last
only 10 minutes. I take my time, and have lots of fun. When
you work in a more relaxed atmosphere, your subjects will
feel more comfortable and at ease. As a result, your final
photographs will look natural, not posed. My love for photography
has helped me express myself in an artistic way. I guarantee
that as my customer, you will receive a set of photographs
that not only will be of professional quality but will communicate
a feeling or story about the individual(s) in the photograph.Through
very soft illumination, my photographic technique allows character
and sensitivity of the model to project onto the images in
the finest detail without becoming overly graphic.
