My approach
to wedding photography is personal and relaxed. Prior
to the wedding day I discuss with clients my level of
involvement, types of shots, posed vs. candids, and
how much B&W vs. color is desired. Any combination
of traditional portraiture with informal and candid
shots is offered, always with an eye for the artistic
or simply just fun shots.
Special note : B&W photography
has increased in popularity in recent years. This has
delighted many photographers who consider themselves
fine artists. Some consider color to simply be distracting.
I'm not sure I totally agree with this, but it is true
that a successful image shot in B&W, does rely more
heavily on good composition.
I always discuss with clients their personal preferences
for photography, including usage of B&W and color
film formats. I find B&W films are particularly
effective for candids. |
